Arturia was founded by two engineering students, Frédéric Brun and Gilles Pommereuil who met at the Grenoble Institute of Technology in France. Their shared vision was that technology could open the world of music creation to everyone. They envisioned music and sound as a universe full of creative possibilities leading them to create the brand, Arturia, in 1999. Over the past 20 years, Arturia’s heritage has been dedicated to providing the best vintage sound combined with fragments of modern production capabilities.
